Fundamentals of Movement

The Fundamentals of Movement is an introduction to the principles of a movement centered practice. The purpose of this workshop is to create a framework that you can u to develop a personal and holistic practice and system of progression. At the end of this workshop, you will have the necessary tools to improve your strength, mobility and movement capacity without being dependent on any specific type of equipment or location.

On top of this, we will add elements of floorwork and inversion.
Adding Floorwork and inversions to your practice is based on a simple premise; an increase of body control should produce freedom of movement. This freedom will only be obtained when we start to evaluate and analyze movement for what it is: a mental action, as much as a physical event. To achieve this, we´ll be studying and practicing inversions and conceptual floorwork. The very nature of these two forms of movement will develop a mental acuity, as well as building the strength and resilience to function in more planes.
