The principles of mobility
Of all the physical qualities, none are quite as perplexing as flexibility.
There are literally thousands of methods and tools that all claim to be beneficial for improving our ranges of motion, and they usually compete by having the very appealing names and by making appealing claims.
Besides wrecking our brains trying to figure out which one to choose, *the problem* is not that none of these methods work.
The problem is that they all work. At least to a certain extent.
Because of this, the question we become most prone to asking is “Which one method/tool should I choose to get the best possible progression?”.
However, the question we should be asking ourselves before trying to figure out “what works best” is..:
How does it work?
By understanding the underlying principles mechanisms of mobility, we not only understand why there are so many methods and tools that seemingly work - we also see their limitations, and by doing so, can create even more sustainable and effective strategies.
This is the primary focus of this workshop: Building our practice on the basis of a fundamental understanding - not having to choose products based on claims.
